With drinksSpring rolls with sweet and sour sauce
Ingredients
- 12 mini spring rolls
- 150 millilitres sweet and sour sauce
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C or heat frying oil to 180 °C.
- Bake the spring rolls in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or deep-fry them for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown and hot.
- Drain briefly and serve with the sweet and sour sauce.
To go with itBurger with aged cheese
Ingredients
- 600 grams of minced beef
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of aged cheese
- 1 red onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 grams of lettuce
- gherkin and mustard
Method
- Knead the mince with salt and pepper and shape four flat burgers, slightly wider than the buns.
- Fry or grill the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes per side until they are no longer pink inside.
- In the last minute, place a slice of aged cheese on each burger and let it melt.
- Slice the red onion into rings, slice the tomatoes and gherkin, and briefly toast the buns.
- Fill the buns with mustard, lettuce, tomato, the burger, onion and gherkin.

Ingredients
- 160 grams young Gouda
Method
- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
- Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.
