Non-alcoholic gin on the Brink
Strictly speaking, non-alcoholic gin is not gin: that name is legally tied to a minimum alcohol content. The bottle contains a distilled or macerated blend of juniper and the botanicals that belong to gin.
It is made to be used like gin: with tonic, in a large glass with ice, and with the garnish that suits the botanicals.

Juniper, coriander, citrus peel and root give the flavour; the alcohol is mainly the carrier. Without alcohol the botanicals have to work harder, and that succeeds better with a herbal gin than with a soft one.
The tonic does more here than with ordinary gin, because it fills a larger part of the glass. A tonic with plenty of quinine and little sweetness usually works best.
The botanicals do the work. The alcohol was mainly the carrier.
