Why here

Distilled in Schiedam, named after a painter

Vincent van Gogh is a Dutch vodka brand that released its first vodkas in 2000. It is distilled at the Dirkzwager distillery in Schiedam, where Tim Vos is associated with the brand as master distiller.

The base vodka is made from wheat from the Netherlands, Germany and France. The flavoured variants get their flavour through infusion; the Wild Appel is made with apples grown in the Netherlands.

The name refers to the painter. The brand is named after him and has only existed since 2000. Vincent van Gogh himself had nothing to do with it.
