A tumbler for a hazy IPA
A tumbler is a straight glass with no foot and no stem. Not a chalice, not a goblet: simply a sturdy glass you hold in your hand. You see this shape more often with the modern, hazy New England IPA, because that beer has to rely on colour and aroma rather than on a tall head of foam.
This one holds up to 38 centilitres, more than most beer glasses. A 33 can or bottle goes in at once, with room to spare for the head.

Frontaal Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in Breda and started in a shipping container. It now brews at its own location in the city and also runs a brewpub.
Juice Punch is their New England IPA, and this glass carries that beer’s design. The tumbler shape suits the style: you can see the hazy colour clearly and the wide opening lets the hop aroma out.
