The goblet glass from Brugge
Brugse Zot is brewed at De Halve Maan, in the middle of Bruges. The matching glass is a goblet: broad, wide and on a stem.
That shape does a job. A large surface releases the aromas quickly and leaves room for a generous head of foam. We stock the 33 centiliter goblet, available per piece.

Why a goblet and not a straight glass
- The glass in brief
- GobletBroad and wide, on a stem.
- 33 clThe capacity of this model.
- De Halve MaanThe brewery in Bruges.
- IndividuallyYou order individual glasses.
Brugse Zot comes from Brouwerij De Halve Maan, a brewery that still stands in the centre of Bruges.
A goblet or chalice has a wide, open surface. That releases the aromas of the beer quickly, and that is exactly what you want with a heavier beer in which yeast, malt and spice all play a part. It is the reason almost all abbey and Trappist beers prescribe this shape.
Material, height and weight are not on the product page and we do not make them up. Call us if you want to know exactly, and we will take one out of the box.

Frequently asked questions about the Brugse Zot glass
How many centilitres go into the Brugse Zot glass?
Thirty-three centilitres. It is the 33 cl goblet.
Which beer is this glass meant for?
For Brugse Zot. The stemmed goblet is the model that suits this type of beer, because the wide surface releases the aromas quickly and there is room for a firm head of foam.
Where does Brugse Zot come from?
From Brouwerij De Halve Maan in Brugge.
Is this a single glass or a set?
Sold individually. In the online shop this item is listed per piece, so you buy per glass.
Can I order a single glass?
Yes. You order per piece, so one glass is fine and a whole row is too. Handy if you have a broken one.
Can this glass go in the dishwasher?
That is not on the product page and we do not assume it without a source. Call 0570 541 278 and we will check the glass itself for you.
Can I pick up the glass in Bathmen?
Yes. You can always order online or collect at Brink 2, or simply drop in during opening hours.
