In the wider part of the glass the wine gets a little more air, which allows the aroma to develop better. The narrowed rim keeps that aroma together and at the same time slows the escape of the bubbles, so that the mousse lasts longer.
Daarmee is het tulpglas geschikt voor champagne met wat meer diepgang, maar ook voor cava, crémant en prosecco. De set bestaat uit vier glazen.
