About this bottle
Uiltje Brewing Company komt uit Haarlem. Robbert Uyleman richtte het merk in 2012 op, en het bier groeide snel uit tot een bekende naam in het Nederlandse speciaalbier, ook over de grens.

In 2015 kwam de financiering rond met hulp van een bank en honderden crowdfunders. Sinds september 2016 brouwt Uiltje in een eigen brouwerij aan de Bingerweg in Haarlem. In 2021 nam Swinkels Family Brewers het bedrijf over; het bier wordt nog steeds in Haarlem gebrouwen. In de Zijlstraat heeft Uiltje een eigen bar.
Een glas op voet houdt de hand weg van de kelk, zodat het bier minder snel opwarmt. Dit glas van 25 cl draagt de naam van de Haarlemse brouwerij.
