From Malheur we stock one glass: a stemmed glass with a capacity of 25 centilitres. We have no other models from this brand.
You hold a stemmed glass by the stem. That is not etiquette but practicality: your hand then doesn't warm the beer, and with a strong blond beer you notice that within ten minutes. The bowl also gives the aroma more room than a straight glass.

Malheur is a Belgian brewery. On our shelves is this brand's blond beer; this glass goes with it.
Almost all Belgian breweries release their own glass, and it is usually a stemmed one. That is more than advertising. You drink a blond beer of around eight per cent more slowly than a pils, and then it matters that your hand isn't on the bowl.
Blond, by the way, says something about the colour, not the strength. What you taste is usually a light malt sweetness with a fruity, spicy note from the yeast and a dry finish. It is precisely that aroma that a bowl shows off better than a straight glass.
Grease is the enemy of foam
Rinse a beer glass with hot water free of detergent residue, and don't dry it with a towel washed with fabric softener. Grease residue makes the head collapse within a minute. That is the most common reason beer foams differently at home than in the pub.
What to know before you order
The glass is sold individually; you don't have to buy a set. If you want more than a few, give us a call and we will check what is in the stockroom.
The capacity is 25 centilitres. We do not stock other sizes of Malheur.
