Somewhere between port and brandy
Portafortuna XO is a blend of two things you normally see standing separately on the shelf: port and aged brandy. The result is a fortified drink of 27.5 percent.
According to the product description, it contains port from 2016, brandy aged for fifteen years and a touch of cognac, with natural flavourings.
That puts the bottle between categories. We would expect it with the port or fortified wines rather than with other spirits, but it is not entirely out of place here.

What XO means here
XO is a designation you mainly know from cognac, where it refers to a minimum ageing period. On this bottle it refers to the brandy in the blend; it is not a cognac designation.
