The Origins range does something unusual: each bottle combines rum from two countries that you would not normally put side by side. Spain with Venezuela, Thailand with the Philippines, Ghana with eSwatini. The label says which two.
There is also the Single Batch series with Jamaican pot still rum, and the Sicilian Legacy from Barbados. Blending and bottling take place in Italy.

What we do and do not know about this
Little is publicly documented about this brand: no founding year and no own website that we could establish with certainty. What is established is the set-up (rum from different countries, blended and bottled in Italy) and which origins are on the label of each bottle. We do not put anything more here.
Blending as the starting point
- The brand in brief
- 2Provenances for each Origins bottle.
- ItalyWhere it is blended and bottled.
- Pot stillWith the Jamaican Single Batch.
- AfricaGhana and eSwatini, rarely on the shelf.
In the rum world, blending is the rule, not the exception; what is special here is that the brand names the origins instead of leaving them out.
The African bottle is the most striking of the series. Rum from Ghana and eSwatini is rarely found on a Dutch shelf, even though sugar cane has long grown in both countries.
The Jamaican Single Batch bottles are another story: pot still rum from a single batch, and therefore far more pronounced than the Origins blends.
Two origins in one bottle, and both on the label.
Where best to start
The three Origins bottles are the nicest to taste side by side: same set-up, very different origins.
If you already know Jamaican rum, go straight to the Single Batch bottles.
Call 0570 541 278 or drop in at Brink 2 in Bathmen if you would like to talk it over.
