Why here

First, to be honest: this is not rum

This bottle is in our rum overview, but it is an amaro: an Italian herbal bitter. We would rather say so right away than have you open it at home with the wrong expectation.

What it is, though: a special edition of the well-known Vecchio Amaro del Capo, made by Distilleria Caffo to mark its hundredth anniversary in 2015, in a limited run.

Riserva del Centenario

  • NumberedEvery bottle has its own number.
  • 37,5%Alcohol percentage.

In 2015 Distilleria Caffo celebrated its hundredth anniversary and wanted to make something special for it. The master distillers created the Vecchio Amaro del Capo Riserva del Centenario, which is produced in a limited edition.

The bottle design is exclusive and every bottle is numbered.

An amaro like this is usually drunk cold after a meal in Italy, straight from the freezer or over ice. That works here too.

Every bottle has its own number.
