A family distillery that distils everything itself
Zuidam Distillers is based in Baarle-Nassau and calls itself one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands. The company says it makes all its distillates and extracts itself, from natural raw materials, without artificial aromas, colourings or flavourings.
On the vodka shelf we have one of them: the Vanilla Vodka. We also carry Dad’s Vodka, but it is currently out of stock. Call 0570 541 278 if you would like to know when it returns.

Zuidam Distillers was founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam in Baarle-Nassau. The company is still family-owned; his son Patrick van Zuidam is now at the helm.
The distillery makes genever, gin, rum, liqueur, vodka and whisky. The whisky is called Millstone. Everything is made in-house, with copper pot stills and without artificial flavourings, colourings or taste additives.
The Vanilla Vodka is made from wheat and flavoured with real vanilla pods. The bottle is dark, so that light cannot get to it.
Zuidam describes itself as one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands.
Who is the Vanilla Vodka for?
This is a flavoured vodka: wheat as the base, vanilla as the flavouring. The maker calls it suitable for cocktails.
The bottle is a litre and dark in colour, so that light stays out.
It is in the shop at Brink 2 in Bathmen. Call 0570 541 278 if you would like to discuss it.
