Why here

A weizen glass with no logo on it

Most beer glasses on our shelf carry the name of a brewery. This one does not. Blank means: without printing. You get the shape alone, with no brand on it.

That is handy if you are looking for a wheat beer glass that matches your other glasses, if you want a set of identical glasses, or if you want to have something printed on them yourself.

We have eight in stock. You order them individually; you do not have to take a whole box.

What is a weizen glass?

The weizen glass is the tall, slender model that goes with German wheat beer. It widens toward the top, leaving room for the head of foam that such a beer produces.

About the brand

Rastal makes glasses, not beer

  • Rastal in brief
  • 1919The year in which the company began.
  • Höhr-GrenzhausenThe location in Germany.
  • 360Roughly that many people work there worldwide.
  • 120 millionThe stated production capacity per year, in glasses.

Rastal is a German glass manufacturer. The company designs and makes drinking glasses, often made to measure for drinks brands: the logo you see on a beer glass often comes from such a factory.

The head office is on Rastal-Straße in Höhr-Grenzhausen. According to the company itself, about 360 people work there worldwide and capacity is a maximum of 120 million glasses a year.

Why a plain glass?

Because then you do not have ten different breweries on the table. A plain weizen glass suits every witbier, and it is the version to choose if you want a series of matching glasses.

What do you use this glass for?

A weizen glass is intended for German wheat beer: weizen, hefeweizen, kristallweizen. The webshop gives 50 centilitres as the capacity.

Whether that is the measuring line or the contents to the brim is not stated. If that matters to you, give us a call; then we will measure it.
