What is a goblet?
A bokaal is a goblet on a short, often thick stem. You hold it by the stem or low on the bowl, and the wide opening releases the aroma. For heavier Belgian beers this is the usual model.

Straffe Hendrik comes from the De Halve Maan brewery on the Walplein in Bruges. According to the brewery, the story begins in 1856 and the company has by now been in the same family for six generations.
Besides Straffe Hendrik, De Halve Maan also brews Brugse Zot. The Straffe Hendrik line has several versions, including a tripel and a quadrupel. For the glass it makes no difference: the goblet is the same.
What goes with this goblet?
With heavier Belgian beers. With a stated capacity of 33 centilitres, a bottle of 33 fits in, although how much room is left for foam depends on the measuring line; the online shop does not state that.
