There is no Glen Talloch distillery
That is not criticism but a fact worth mentioning. Glen Talloch is a brand name for a blend; there is no Scottish distillery with that name. The whiskies in the blend were, however, distilled and matured in Scotland.
A blend carrying a Glen name is not unusual in the whisky world, but it is good to know what you are looking at. Do not confuse it with Glentauchers, which is an actual Speyside distillery and which we stock separately.

Glen Talloch is available in an unusually large number of sizes: 20 and 35 centiliters, and bottles of 0,7, 1 and 1.5 liters.

On the Dutch packaging, Boomsma Distilleerderij/Wijnkoperij in Leeuwarden is listed as supplier. Whether Boomsma is also the brand owner or only the distributor cannot be established with certainty: Boomsma presents Glen Talloch among the foreign brands it distributes.
The brand is aimed almost exclusively at the Dutch market. That explains why you will find hardly anything about it in international whisky literature, while it is on the shelf in almost every wine & spirits shop here.
The standard bottling contains about thirty percent malt whisky; the rest is grain whisky. The 12 Years Old has a higher malt content, and there is also a Blended Malt made exclusively from single malts.
A Glen name without a glen, and you are welcome to know that.
What these bottles go with
A blend like this is made for pouring generously: neat, on ice or in a long drink. The one-and-a-half-litre size is there for a reason.

No. Glentauchers is an existing Speyside distillery owned by Chivas Brothers. The names are similar, the products are not.
