Why you will find Shenk’s Homestead here
’t Bockje is a family business on the Brink in Bathmen with more than 3,986 different whiskies in stock. That is not a selection of the best-known names, but the whole field: from the big distilleries to single casks, independent bottlers and brands of which only one or two bottles are around.
We currently have one bottle of Shenk’s Homestead on the shelf. We deliberately keep brands like this. In most shops they are the first to disappear from the range, and that is often where the most interesting finds are.
Would you like to know whether this bottle suits your taste? Call 0570 541 278 or email info@bockje.nl. You will not get a menu of options, but someone who knows the shelf.

What is written here about Shenk’s Homestead comes from the label and from our own stock data: country, type, volume and price. What we are not sure about, we do not write. For small brands and single bottlings it is often hard to find a story that holds up, and an invented year helps nobody.
American whiskey is all about corn, rye and barley in varying proportions. Bourbon must be made of at least 51 percent corn and mature in new, charred oak barrels.
Would you rather stand there with the bottle in your hand? Come by. We do not pour, but we will honestly tell you what we think of it and what it resembles that you may already know.
What this bottle belongs to
