Three distilleries, the same strength
With a bottler, the question is not which brand but which cask. We have three bottles of The Single Malts of Scotland in stock: a thirteen-year-old Benrinnes, a ten-year-old Blair Athol and a nine-year-old Aultmore from 2011.
All three come from the series of small batches that the house bottles at exactly forty-eight percent. If you do not know which one you need, give us a call. That is what we are here for.

The Single Malts of Scotland is the bottler range of Elixir Distillers, a London company of the brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh that was called Speciality Drinks until 2017. The same house is also behind Port Askaig and Elements of Islay.
The series consists of single casks and small batches. The latter are called Reserve Casks and are composed of a handful of casks; they are numbered as Parcel and always come out at forty-eight percent. It is not chill-filtered and no colouring is added.
Unlike many other bottler series, the name of the distillery is usually printed on it. Only where the owner does not allow that is the name dropped and a regional designation left. In 2022 Elixir bought the Tormore distillery in Speyside.
A handful of casks together, and always exactly forty-eight percent.

Frequently asked questions about The Single Malts of Scotland
How many bottles of The Single Malts of Scotland does ’t Bockje have?
Three: a nine-year-old Aultmore, a ten-year-old Blair Athol and a thirteen-year-old Benrinnes. All three are available at the moment.
Who is behind this range?
Elixir Distillers from London, run by the brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh. The company was called Speciality Drinks until 2017 and also makes Port Askaig and Elements of Islay.
What does Parcel mean on the label?
The number of the batch. The small batches are put together from a handful of casks and numbered; Parcel No. 4 is therefore the fourth in that series.
Why are all three at 48 percent?
Because the house deliberately bottles those small batches at exactly forty-eight percent. With the single casks from the same series the strength does vary.
Is the distillery always on the label?
As a rule, yes. Only if the owner does not allow it does a regional designation remain instead of a name.
Can I reserve a bottle and collect it in Bathmen?
That is possible. Order online and choose pickup, or call us on 0570 541 278 and we will set it aside. Pickup at Brink 2 is free.
