Ingredients
- 4 herrings
- 1 onion
- sweet and sour gherkins
Method
- Finely chop the onion and slice the gherkins.
- Keep the herring well chilled until just before serving.
- Cut the herring into pieces or serve it whole, with the onions and the gherkin alongside.
With the mealSushi and sashimi
Ingredients
- 400 grams of sushi rice
- 300 grams of sushi-grade salmon
- 200 grams of sushi-grade tuna
- 4 sheets of nori
- 4 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
- wasabi and pickled ginger
Method
- Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear and cook it according to the instructions on the packet.
- Gently mix the warm rice with the rice vinegar and a little salt and leave to cool to room temperature.
- With a sharp knife, cut the salmon and tuna against the grain into slices for sashimi and into strips for the rolls.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat, spread a thin layer of rice over it, lay a strip of fish on top and roll up firmly.
- Cut the rolls into pieces with a wet knife and serve with the sashimi, soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger.
With the cheeseMozzarella di bufala
Ingredients
- 160 grams of mozzarella di bufala
Method
- Take the mozzarella out of the fridge half an hour before serving.
- Tear it into pieces and serve immediately.
