A stemmed glass of 25 centilitres
We stock one glass from Oedipus: a stemmed glass holding 25 centilitres. There are no other models from this brand in our range.
Twenty-five centilitres is a pleasant measure for beer with some substance. You top up as you go instead of the beer warming in the glass, and the stem keeps your hand from resting against it.

Oedipus is a Dutch brewery. On our shelf there is, among others, its tripel; this glass belongs with that kind of beer.
You don't drink a tripel or another beer of around eight percent in ten minutes. A 25 centilitre glass helps: you pour from a bottle of 33 in two goes, and the second half is still cold when you start on it. With a half-litre glass, exactly the opposite happens.
The stem is there for the same reason. The longer you take over a beer, the more it matters that your hand is not on the bowl.
Grease is the enemy of foam
Rinse a beer glass with hot water free of detergent residue, and don't dry it with a towel washed with fabric softener. Grease residue makes the head collapse within a minute. That is the most common reason beer foams differently at home than in the pub.
What to know before you order
The glass is sold individually; a set is not needed. For larger quantities it is better to give us a call, then we will see what we have in the warehouse.
The content is 25 centilitres. We do not stock other sizes of Oedipus.

Why a 25 centilitre glass and not a bigger one?
For beer of around eight percent, a smaller glass is more practical: you pour a 33 cl bottle in two goes, so the second part is still cold when you start on it.
Can the glass go in the dishwasher?
We have no information from the manufacturer on that, so we make no promises. In any case, rinse beer glasses so that no detergent residue remains: grease breaks down the head.
Can I collect the glass in Bathmen?
