The glass on its own, without having to buy a box
A Westmalle glass breaks and you are left with an incomplete set. With us, the glass is on the shelf individually: order one, or three, or six. Handy if you have lost one, and handy if you are giving a bottle as a gift and want the matching glass with it.
The glass we carry is the 33 centilitre trappist goblet. That is the large size, the chalice for the dubbel and the tripel.

Why a trappist beer goes in a chalice
- What the brewery states
- 33 clThe capacity of this goblet.
- 18 cmThe height of the glass.
- 11 cmThe diameter.
- 410 gThe weight, approximately.
Westmalle is the Trappist brewery at the Abbey of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Westmalle, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The brewery is best known for its Dubbel and Tripel.
Those beers call for a chalice: a wide, shallow bowl on a stem and foot. The wide opening releases the aroma, and you hold the glass by the stem so your hand does not warm the beer.
The brewery describes its 33 centilitre glass as a chalice with a decorated foot. The bowl bears the Westmalle logo in enamel, with cut figures depicting malt and hop flowers. The foot has the same ring as the neck of the bottles.

What this glass offers you
The 33 centilitre goblet is the measure for a whole bottle of Westmalle Dubbel or Tripel. If you pour a small glass, this glass is too big; for the 33 centilitre bottles, it is exactly the intended size.
We sell the glass individually. If you want six for the cupboard, order six; we pack them together.
