Octomore si esaurisce da solo; la maggior parte dei negozi ha al massimo l'ultima uscita. Noi abbiamo la serie 16 completa, più edizioni delle serie 15, 14, 13 e 12.

Octomore è la serie più torbata di Bruichladdich ed esiste dal 2008. Il nome deriva da Octomore Farm, una fattoria a pochi chilometri a sud della distilleria. Tra il 1816 e il 1852 vi sorgeva una distilleria propria, che non ce la fece.
Het etiket leest als een proefopstelling. Het getal voor de punt is de serie, het getal erachter geeft aan wat er is uitgeprobeerd: .1 staat voor Schotse gerst op Amerikaans eiken, .2 voor Europees eiken en wijnvaten, .3 voor gerst die op Octomore Farm zelf is verbouwd. Elke uitgave is vijf jaar oud.
De turfwaarden lopen ver uiteen. De eerste mouterij leverde tachtig ppm; latere uitgaven kwamen boven de driehonderd uit. In serie 16 zit de 16.1 op 101,4 ppm en de 16.3 op 189,5 ppm. Gebotteld wordt er vlak bij vatsterkte, hier van 57,3 tot ruim 64 procent.
