Ingredients

  • 1.2 kilos of chicken wings
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 100 millilitres of hot sauce
  • 150 grams of blue cheese dip
  • 4 celery sticks

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry, sprinkle with salt and pepper and lay them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Roast the wings for 40 to 45 minutes, turning halfway, until crisp and the juices by the bone run clear.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the hot sauce.
  5. Toss the warm wings in the sauce.
  6. Serve with the blue cheese dip and the celery sticks.

  • 160 grams mature cheddar

Method

  1. Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
  2. Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of tortilla chips
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 red onion

Method

  1. Cut the red onion and the tomato into small cubes.
  2. Mash the flesh of the avocados with the juice of the lime and a pinch of salt.
  3. Stir in the onion and the tomato and season with pepper.
  4. Serve the guacamole straight away in a bowl with the tortilla chips alongside.
