A Scottish bottler with a Dutch whisky
Dràm Mòr chose a cask of Millstone from Baarle-Nassau and bottled it under its own name. That a Scottish bottler turns to Dutch whisky says something about how it is now valued. It is also the reason this bottle deserves extra attention from us.
In addition six Scottish casks, from an eight-year-old Campbeltown to a twenty-seven-year-old grain whisky. All at cask strength, with the cask number on the label. If you do not know which one you need, give us a call. That is what we are here for.

From export office to own label
- The house in four moments
- 2013Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald start out as export agents for Scottish brands.
- 2018They buy their first casks, initially for themselves.
- 2019The company is going to bottle itself.
- nowAlso rum, cognac and armagnac from a single cask.
Dràm Mòr is Gaelic for ‘big dram’ and is the company of Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald, a couple from Dumbarton near Glasgow. They started as export agents for Scottish distilleries, bought their first casks for themselves in 2018, and decided in 2019 to start bottling themselves.
Dumbarton has a whisky past: this is where Ballantine’s grain distillery stood, and Chivas Brothers still has its home base here. That the bottler has a twenty-three-year-old Dumbarton in its range is therefore no coincidence.
The starting point is one cask per bottle, with the cask number on the label, and a cask choice decided for each whisky: sherry, port, dessert wine, red wine, rum or ex-bourbon. Age is secondary to what is in the glass.
Rum, cognac and armagnac also appear under this name. Everything from a single cask.
