Indian malt from its own barley
Indri works with six-row Indian barley from Rajasthan, a grain you will not find in Scotch whisky. In the Indian climate, whisky also matures much faster than in Scotland.
We have the Trini and the Agneya in stock. Not sure which one you need? Give us a call. That is what we are here for.
The bottles
Two bottles, both at 46 percent.

- Six-rowthe Indian barley from Rajasthan.
Indri is the single malt brand of Piccadily Distilleries and comes from the village of Indri in the Karnal district, in the northern Indian state of Haryana. The brand was introduced in 2021; the first bottle, the Trini, appeared at the end of 2022.
The barley is six-row and comes from Rajasthan. That is a different grain from the two-row barley that is standard in Scotland, and it gives its own character. There are fourteen copper pot stills.
The Trini matures in three types of cask: ex-bourbon, French oak and PX sherry. The Agneya is the peated edition. Because of the warm climate, maturation in India is much faster than in Scotland.
Six-row barley from Rajasthan: you taste that immediately.
