Not just the green bottle
Most shops have the regular Jameson and perhaps Black Barrel. Besides these we have the Single Pot Still, the Distiller’s Safe, the eighteen-year-old and The Cooperage.
The Caskmates editions and both Triple Triples are there too. If you do not know which one to get, give us a call. That is what we are here for.

John Jameson, born in Alloa in Scotland, started in 1780 on Bow Street in Dublin. The distillery grew into one of the largest in Ireland and around 1880 covered almost six hectares in the centre of the city.
On 5 June 1970 the last distillation ran there. Since 1975 Jameson has been made in Midleton in County Cork, which is also where Redbreast, Powers and the Spot range come from. Bow Street is now a visitor centre.
Jameson is distilled three times, which is customary in Ireland and gives the soft style. It is a blend of pot still whiskey and grain whiskey. The Single Pot Still in our range is the exception: it consists solely of pot still whiskey.
Almost two hundred years on Bow Street, and in Midleton since 1975.

Frequently asked questions about Jameson
How much Jameson does ’t Bockje have in stock?
Fifteen different bottles, from a half bottle to the eighteen-year-old. All fifteen are available at the moment.
Where is Jameson made?
In Midleton in County Cork. Until 1970 distilling took place at Bow Street in Dublin; since 1975 everything has been done in Midleton.
What is Caskmates?
Jameson finished in casks that previously held beer: the Stout Edition in stout casks, the IPA Edition in IPA casks.
What is the difference compared with Jameson Black Barrel?
Black Barrel uses a higher proportion of pot still whiskey and casks that have been charred extra. That gives more depth than the regular Original.
What is single pot still?
An Irish style in which both malted and unmalted barley goes into the pot still. Our Single Pot Still contains only that whiskey, without grain whisky added.
