Ingredients

  • 600 grams of minced beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of aged cheese
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100 grams of lettuce
  • gherkin and mustard

Method

  1. Knead the mince with salt and pepper and shape four flat burgers, slightly wider than the buns.
  2. Fry or grill the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes per side until they are no longer pink inside.
  3. In the last minute, place a slice of aged cheese on each burger and let it melt.
  4. Slice the red onion into rings, slice the tomatoes and gherkin, and briefly toast the buns.
  5. Fill the buns with mustard, lettuce, tomato, the burger, onion and gherkin.

  • 160 grams of Parmigiano Reggiano

Method

  1. Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
  2. Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of tortilla chips
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 red onion

Method

  1. Cut the red onion and the tomato into small cubes.
  2. Mash the flesh of the avocados with the juice of the lime and a pinch of salt.
  3. Stir in the onion and the tomato and season with pepper.
  4. Serve the guacamole straight away in a bowl with the tortilla chips alongside.
