HoofdgerechtKipsaté met pindasaus
Ingredients
- 600 gram kippendijfilet
- 4 eetlepels ketjap manis
- 200 gram pindakaas
- 200 milliliter kokosmelk
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 theelepel sambal oelek
- 250 grams of rice
- 1 komkommer
- satéprikkers
Method
- Snijd de kippendijen in blokjes, meng ze met de ketjap manis en laat 30 minuten marineren.
- Rijg het vlees aan de satéprikkers en kook de rijst volgens de verpakking.
- Verwarm pindakaas, kokosmelk, geperste knoflook, sambal en een scheut water al roerend tot een gladde saus.
- Bak of gril de saté 10 tot 12 minuten en keer regelmatig, tot de kip rondom bruin en helemaal gaar is.
- Serveer met de pindasaus, de rijst en plakjes komkommer.

- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
- Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 100 grams of grated aged cheese
- 1 egg
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Roll out the puff pastry and brush it with some of the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle the cheese over one half, fold the other half over it and press lightly.
- Cut into strips about one centimetre wide and twist each strip a few times around its axis.
- Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with the rest of the egg and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
