About this bottle

Leffe giftpack 4 flessen + glas is een geschenkverpakking met vier bieren van het Belgische abdijbiermerk Leffe en een Leffe-glas. Er zitten onder meer Leffe Blond, Leffe Tripel en de alcoholvrije Leffe Blond 0.0 in. Die laatste kwam in november 2018 uit als eerste volledig alcoholvrije abdijbier van België. Zo bevat één doos zowel het lichtste als een van de zwaardere bieren van het merk.

Leffe is genoemd naar de abdij Notre-Dame de Leffe in Dinant, gesticht in 1152. In 1240 verwierven de norbertijnen er een brouwerij. Eeuwen later werd de naam een biermerk van formaat: in 1954 werd de brouwerij die later opging in AB InBev hoofdaandeelhouder, en vanaf 1977 werd Leffe gebrouwen in Mont-Saint-Guibert, tot die brouwerij in 1996 sloot. Tegenwoordig komt Leffe uit de brouwerij van Stella Artois in Leuven.

400 gram kaas in drie of vier soorten
200 gram droge worst
100 grams of olives
1 baguette
100 gram noten
2 tablespoons of mustard

Method

Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
Put everything on a board with the olives, the nuts and a small bowl of mustard.

Ingredients

160 grams aged Gouda

Method

Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

12 bitterballen
mustard

Method

Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately with mustard.
