Ingredients

  • 500 millilitres of vanilla ice cream
  • 400 grams of cherries from a jar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cornflour
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method

  1. Drain the cherries and collect the juice.
  2. Bring the juice to the boil with the sugar and the cinnamon stick.
  3. Mix the cornflour with a splash of cold water, use it to thicken the juice and let it boil for 1 minute.
  4. Heat the cherries in it for 2 minutes and remove the cinnamon stick.
  5. Scoop the ice cream into coupes and pour the warm cherries over it.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams fresh ricotta
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

  1. Spoon the ricotta into a small bowl.
  2. Pour the honey over just before serving.

  • 120 grams of Parma ham
  • 1 melon

Method

  1. Chill the melon and take the ham out of the fridge 20 minutes before serving.
  2. Halve the melon, remove the seeds and cut it into wedges without the rind.
  3. Arrange the wedges on a platter and drape the slices of ham over or beside them.
