- 400 gram kaas in drie of vier soorten
- 200 gram droge worst
- 100 gram olijven
- 1 baguette
- 100 gram noten
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
Method
- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Leg alles op een plank met de olijven, de noten en een schaaltje mosterd.

- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
- Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Method
- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
- Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately with mustard.

The Balvenie 14 Years Old Caribbean Cask Geschenkverpakking is een cadeauverpakking met een fles van deze veertienjarige Speyside single malt en twee glazen. In de doos zit de 70cl-fles op 43% vol, zodat whisky en glazen samen gegeven kunnen worden. De whisky rijpte op traditionele eiken vaten en kreeg daarna een nabewerking in vaten die eerder West-Indische rum bevatten.
