- 1 baguette

Method
- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Put everything on a board with the olives, the nuts and a small bowl of mustard.

- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.

- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.

Het kistje maakt van een paar flesjes van de bekende Nederlandse brouwerij een verzorgd geschenk. Grolsch is vooral bekend om de beugelfles met klapdop, al kent het assortiment ook gewone flesjes.

De naam Grolsch verwijst naar Grol, de oude naam van de vestingstad Groenlo in de Achterhoek. Daar begon Willem Neerfeldt in 1615 de brouwerij, die later door zijn schoonzoon Peter Kuyper werd voortgezet. In de vroege negentiende eeuw verhuisde het brouwen naar Enschede, en sinds 2004 staat de brouwerij in Boekelo in Twente. De band met de regio blijkt ook uit de naam van het stadion van FC Twente: De Grolsch Veste. Sinds 2016 is Grolsch eigendom van Asahi.
