- 400 gram kaas in drie of vier soorten
- 200 gram droge worst
- 100 gram olijven
- 1 baguette
- 100 gram noten
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
Method
- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Leg alles op een plank met de olijven, de noten en een schaaltje mosterd.

- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
- Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately with mustard.

De Texels Bierbox 5 flesjes is een houten kistje met vijf bieren van de Texelse Bierbrouwerij, samen anderhalve liter speciaalbier van het Waddeneiland Texel. De brouwerij voert een twaalftal speciaalbieren, van het tarwebier Skuumkoppe tot Tuunwal Tripel, Skiller Wit en Overzee IPA. Dit kistje brengt vijf bieren uit dat Texelse assortiment samen in één houten verpakking.

De Texelse Bierbrouwerij staat in Oudeschild, aan de rand van het natuurgebied De Hoge Berg. Het bedrijf zit in een voormalige zuivelfabriek die De Eendracht heette; aanvankelijk huurde de brouwerij daar maar een deel van het pand. Het brouwwater is door de duinen van het eiland gezuiverd, en ook de brouwgerst groeit op Texel zelf.
