Ingredients

  • 400 gram rundergehakt
  • 8 slices of puff pastry
  • 1 onion
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 gram groene olijven

Method

  1. Verwarm de oven voor op 200 °C en laat het bladerdeeg ontdooien.
  2. Sauté the onion in oil, fry the minced meat until crumbly and season it with the cumin, salt and pepper.
  3. Roer de fijngesneden paprika en de gehakte olijven erdoor, bak 5 minuten mee en laat de vulling afkoelen.
  4. Kook een ei hard, hak het fijn en meng het door de vulling.
  5. Spoon the filling onto half of each slice of dough, fold it closed and press the edges down with a fork.
  6. Brush the empanadas with the beaten second egg and bake them for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.

  • 160 gram pecorino

Method

  1. Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
  2. Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

  • 200 grams dry sausage and ham
  • 1 baguette

Method

  1. Take the sausage and ham out of the fridge 20 minutes before serving.
  2. Cut the sausage into thin slices and the baguette into rounds.
  3. Arrange the sausage and ham loosely on a board and serve with the bread.
