What is needed

With dessertVanilla ice cream with warm cherries
Ingredients
- 500 millilitres of vanilla ice cream
- 400 grams of cherries from a jar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cornflour
- 1 cinnamon stick
Method
- Drain the cherries and collect the juice.
- Bring the juice to the boil with the sugar and the cinnamon stick.
- Mix the cornflour with a splash of cold water, use it to thicken the juice and let it boil for 1 minute.
- Heat the cherries in it for 2 minutes and remove the cinnamon stick.
- Scoop the ice cream into coupes and pour the warm cherries over it.
With coffeeChocolate truffles
Ingredients
- 200 grams dark chocolate
- 150 millilitres whipping cream
- 20 grams butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
Method
- Finely chop the chocolate and put it in a bowl.
- Bring the cream just to the boil and pour it over the chocolate.
- Leave for 1 minute, stir to a smooth ganache and stir in the butter.
- Leave the ganache to set, covered, in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- Scoop small portions with a teaspoon, quickly roll them into balls and coat them in the cocoa powder.
- Keep cool and take them out of the fridge a quarter of an hour before serving.
With the cheeseFresh ricotta with honey
Ingredients
- 200 grams fresh ricotta
- 2 tablespoons honey
Method
- Spoon the ricotta into a small bowl.
- Pour the honey over just before serving.

DI SARONNO Gift set bevat een fles Disaronno van 70 cl en twee tumblerglazen. Disaronno is een Italiaanse likeur uit Saronno, die tot 2001 Amaretto di Saronno heette en toen de naam Disaronno Originale kreeg. De herkenbare fles werd in de jaren zeventig ontworpen door een glasmeester uit Murano. Het etiket vermeldt 28% vol.

Het verhaal van Disaronno gaat terug tot 1525. Volgens de overlevering schilderde Bernardino Luini, een leerling van Leonardo da Vinci, in dat jaar een Madonna voor het heiligdom van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van de Wonderen in Saronno. Een plaatselijke herbergierster gaf hem uit dank een amberkleurige likeur van kruiden en andere ingrediënten. In 2025 vierde het merk dat verhaal met een jubileum van vijfhonderd jaar.
