- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Put everything on a board with the olives, the nuts and a small bowl of mustard.

- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
- Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Method
- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
- Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately with mustard.

De Tempelier Geschenkverpakking 2x33cl met Glas bevat een fles Tempelier Strong Blond, een fles Tempelier Strong Amber en het bijpassende Tempelierglas. Beide bieren komen van Brouwerij Corsendonk uit België: de Strong Blond is een sterk goudblond bier, de Strong Amber een amberkleurige, eveneens zwaardere variant. De naam en het etiket verwijzen naar de middeleeuwse ridderorde van de Tempeliers.

De naam Corsendonk komt van de priorij Corsendonk in Oud-Turnhout, gesticht in 1398, waar de kloosterlingen naast het kopiëren van bijbels ook bier brouwden. Keizer Jozef II hief het klooster in 1784 op, en na de Franse Revolutie werden de kloostergoederen openbaar verkocht. In 1906 kwam de brouwerij in handen van Henricus Keersmaekers.
