Why this works together

Chosen on the colour (red wine), the grape (pinotage), the country of origin (South Africa), the alcohol percentage (14%) and the note of toffee in the description. Red works with tannin, and tannin seeks protein. That is why red wine and meat so often turn up together.

Serve at 16 to 18 °C.
