Method
- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Put everything on a board with the olives, the nuts and a small bowl of mustard.

- 160 grams of matured Gouda
Method
- Take the cheese out of the fridge about an hour before serving; that brings out the flavour best.
- Only cut or break the cheese just before serving.

Method
- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.
- Drain on kitchen paper and serve immediately with mustard.

Het bier bestaat sinds eind jaren negentig en groeide uit tot het bekendste bier van de brouwerij. De naam komt uit de wereld van de Texelse vissers: skuumkoppen zijn de witte, schuimende golftoppen die op de Waddenzee ontstaan wanneer de golven breken.
