Method
- Haal de kaas en de worst een half uur van tevoren uit de koelkast.
- Snijd de kaas in plakken of blokjes, de worst in dunne plakjes en het stokbrood in schijven.
- Leg alles op een plank met de olijven, de noten en een schaaltje mosterd.

- Heat the frying oil to 180 °C.
- Fry the bitterballen for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and piping hot all the way through.

De Uiltje Brewing Lucky Leprechaun 3-pack Limited Edition bevat drie versies van hetzelfde bier: een Irish Red Ale van Uiltje uit Haarlem. Naast de gewone uitvoering liggen er een op vat gerijpte variant en een ijsbock van dat vatgerijpte bier, waarbij door bevriezen en het afscheiden van ijs het bier verder is ingedikt. Zo laat dit gelimiteerde pakket stap voor stap zien wat vat en vorst met één recept doen.

Uiltje Brewing Company is gevestigd in Haarlem, aan de Bingerweg. Robbert Uyleman begon het merk in 2012; sinds 2016 brouwt Uiltje op een eigen installatie in de stad, betaald met geld uit een geslaagde crowdfundingactie. In 2021 kwam de Haarlemse brouwerij in handen van Swinkels Family Brewers, het Brabantse familiebedrijf achter Bavaria. De geïllustreerde etiketten zijn van de hand van Gerben Valkema.
Bij het openen van het pakket is direct duidelijk dat dit iets bijzonders is. Lucky Leprechaun is geen gewone Irish Red Ale, het is een ondeugende Uiltje-klassieker met een malty backbone, een vleug karamel en een knipoog naar de Ierse folklore. Maar deze leprechaun komt in drie gedaantes, en elke variant heeft zijn eigen magie.
