Wij houden een van de breedste drankschappen van Nederland, in een familiezaak aan de Brink in Bathmen. Dat betekent voor witte wijnen niet drie of vier keuzes maar 308.
White is too often bought by brand and too little by style. With a wide shelf you can choose by taste: fresh, aromatic or full.

Witte wijn kan ook van blauwe druiven worden gemaakt: de kleur zit in de schil, en als het sap daar niet op blijft liggen blijft de wijn bleek. Zo werkt een blanc de noirs.
Grofweg zijn er drie smaakrichtingen. Fris en droog zoals sauvignon blanc of pinot grigio, aromatisch zoals riesling en gewürztraminer, en vol met hout zoals veel chardonnay.

Which white wine is dry?
Sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio, verdejo and most chablis are dry. Riesling can go either way: a German trocken is dry, a halbtrocken or feinherb is not. If you are in doubt, just ask.
